I just downloaded and watched Bungie’s latest video release, the first ViDoc for Halo: Reach.  As you all know, I’m a confessed Halo addict, and I’m practically drooling over Reach already.

According to the ViDoc, they’ve completely rebuilt nearly every part of the engine behind Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST.  They now can have more polygons, bigger textures, and massively larger numbers of AI’s running around. …

Hey everyone, thanks for stopping by as usual.

Lotta stuff going on lately, mostly personal, but I’ll get what I can out here.  First up, I’m sorry to say we lost a kitty this past weekend.  His name was Spooky, and he had been with us for 16 long years before we finally had to put him down.  It was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, and I don’t mind admitting that I cried a lot that day.

However, with all that behind me, I have more stuff to throw up on here. …

The sequel to BioShock has some large shoes to fill to stand next to it’s predecessor, largely considered one of the best XBox 360 titles to come out at it’s time.  I’m here to tell you not only does it fill those shoes, but you’ll have to buy some additional socks to accommodate the levels of awesome it unleashes.

I played and reviewed the PC version of BioShock 2, for your information.

Hey everyone, if you’ve made it here, then you’re already aware of us moving to the new site.  Now I’ve got a lot of work to do, rebuilding all the pages and whatnot, so things will be a little rough for awhile.  But don’t worry, I’ll get it all taken care of eventually!

So for now, just enjoy the pretty new theme.  I’ll have the new galleries up and running as soon as possible.

KEEP IT CLEAN!

Hehe, first an ODST themed Christmas tree, and now a blanket? Yes, I am obsessed.

My fiance Mike said he wanted a Halo blanket, but because there is absolutely no licensed Halo fleece to be found(wtf Micro$oft?!), I told him I could just applique a design into the fleece. He couldn’t decide whether he wanted a blanket with the Halo 3 Legendary symbol, or one with the ODST Superintendent. I suggested Vergil since he’s so cute, and he would be considerably easier to cut out and sew onto the fabric; also, who could resist the “Keep it Clean” logo? …

As of this posting, my blog here at DarkFireLabs will no longer be active.  Because we’re moving!!! 

Grace and I are once again going to have a unified website, on a much larger hosting plan.  Meaning I will able to host all my files, all my artwork in it’s high definition glory, and tons of other stuff!
